What is the DCLA all about?
The purpose of the The Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy (DLCA)   is to provide young cricketers with the opportunity to play high quality cricket around the world. The DLCA works closely with the English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Sri Lanka Cricket, and the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) to provide a Centre of Excellence for participants attending from all over the world. The focus of the DLCA program is to provide a total life experience, not just a cricket one whilst looking at an individual’s future within the game and provides guidance to improve and strive to achieve at a player’s particular level. Since opening in 2005, the DLCA has help to fast track the careers of players such as England’s Monty Panesar, Phil Mustard, Ajmal Shahzad, Samit Patel, Scott Borthwick, Joe Root, Alex Hales & James Hildreth, Sri Lanka’s Chatarunga deSilva, West Indian players Kavem Hodge and Hayden Walsh to higher honours.
